Dräger SCR Dive Planner

Free download of an Excel(97) spreadsheet to help plan dives using a Dräger Semi-closed Circuit Rebreather (SCR). (Note, this sheet is not compatible with earlier versions of Excel.)

The sheet allows you to view the relationship between:

• Nitrox mix
• Flow rate
• Depth
• Inspired PPO2
• Equivalent air depth
• CNS O2 toxicity

It also calculates nitrox fills.

Instructions on how to use it are embedded as comments. Just let the cursor hover over a cell with a red corner to find out more.

Disclaimers

1. Never trust software like this spreadsheet with decisions that could risk your life. Use it to play with ideas when planning a dive, but always make your own independent check that the plan is valid.
2. This spreadsheet contains macros. A macro could harbour a macro virus. I recommend you scan it for viruses before running it. To avoid any risk leave macros disabled. All the functions except the grey buttons will still work.
