Charbonnier Francais - PLM9

cf_sketch.jpg (30k bytes) Sketch of the Charbonnier Francais

Stern an propeller of PLM9. 00235_20_small.jpgThe Charbonnier Francais was another casualty of the First World War. Considering its size of 4890 tonnes there isn't much left. Like the Penhir the wreckage has disappeared beneath the sand save for the engine, boilers, stern and a section of superstructure.

Having said that it was still an enjoyable second dive with large shoals of fish writhing round the engine, boilers and stern.
